The UK has seen a dramatic increase in consumers turning to veganism with experts predicting the number of vegans will double within the next year.
In addition to those who have turned to veganism, many other consumers are actively reducing the amount of animal based products bought, typically for sustainability or cruelty free reasons.
As you can imagine this has a large impact on the food & drink industry, but vegan products are a growing trend across many different sectors. This includes both the health & beauty and the fashion & footwear industries, with many businesses now looking to incorporate products that cater to this growing audience.
But for these consumers, there is also an expectation that their packaging is vegan too.
Many may not realise that a lot of adhesives used in the packaging manufacturing process are often made from animal based products. Yet, here at Belmont we are dedicated to manufacturing sustainable vegan and cruelty free packaging.
To be a manufacturer of vegan and cruelty free packaging it all starts with carefully choosing the right suppliers and materials to produce our packaging.
We attain our materials from vegan verified suppliers to make sure there are no animal derived ingredients used in the manufacturing of the paper, solid board, inks, or adhesives that we use.
Therefore, if you are a supplier of vegan products, you can have peace of mind that both your packaging and your product are vegan friendly.
Plus, we only use adhesive products that have not been tested on animals to ensure our packaging is not only vegan it’s also cruelty free.

At Belmont we feel passionate about producing both sustainable and ethical packaging for our customers.
