What are returnable boxes?

Returnable boxes incorporate a double glue strip and a tear-off strip, which is sandwiched between the two runs of adhesive.

Once you’ve used the first glue strip to close the box, this leaves a tear-open or rip-strip for your customer to open the box with, plus a final glue strip.

If your customer needs to return the goods for whatever reason, they simply remove the wax paper from the top of the remaining glue strip and seal the package up ready to return it to you.

• Crash-lock base – Auto lock bases work well as they slide into place quickly and the returnable closure finishes the box off professionally.
• Fold in closures and flaps – This option doesn’t require glue on anything except the two closures of the box.
• A simple fold over flap – Once your box is made up the flap closes and the box is ready to send.
