Celebrating Buy British Day

Buy British Day Boxedup.jpg

Now in its third year, Buy British Day celebrates everything that's good about British-designed and made products.

The Buy British Day was created three years ago to encourage consumer attention on the provenance and quality of the wide range of products Britain produce.

“Ironically the stamp Made in Britain has long been seen as a badge of quality overseas but less so at home. Buy British Day has been launched to try and change that.”*

Our ‘Made in Britain’ story began with founder Mike Moloney back in 1978. Belmont Packaging made their own corrugated sheets of board, transformed them into corrugated cases and sent them out with their own fleet of transport to the surrounding areas. Belmont Packaging soon became a name nationwide, within the packaging industry.

Kate Hulley, Mike’s daughter, purchased the company back in 2013 and has since revitalised Belmont Packaging into the forward thinking company it is today. We are proud to promote the fact our products are Made in Britain, supporting British industry and a range of British household brands.

In honour of Buy British Day on the 1st October we will be offering 10% off all orders on our ecommerce platform Boxed-Up across this weekend.

FAQ's

How long will my quotation take?

Once we have received the full specification for your corrugated packaging requirements, quotations are typically returned within 2 working days, taking into consideration that we do not work on Fridays.

For more bespoke packaging projects involving custom structural design, specialist print finishes or tooling requirements, additional development time may be required to ensure we provide the most accurate and commercially effective solution.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities vary depending on the packaging style, board grade, print requirements and manufacturing process involved.

As a general guide, standard production runs are usually 2,000+ boxes.
