25 year old, ex biomedical science student, Mitchell Carr founded Triple Six Gin in 2020 during the COVID lockdown.
The gin is now already behind the bar in over fifty hotels and restaurants across the UK, including top restaurants in London's West End.
It has won a number of prestegeous awards including the Gold award art the London Gin of the year awards as well as double gold at he China Wine and Spirit Awards.
Mitch at Triple Six Gin wanted 1,000 bespoke cardboard cases, each to hold and protect six bottles of his fantastic gin.
As well as protecting the product, Mitch wanted the box to showcase his brand.
Double wall, printed transit boxes
The team at Belmont came up with an innovative packaging solution that would house 6 bottles of the gin without breakages.
To ensure that chance of breakage in transit was reduced, an internal division set was designed and produced so that the boxes did not collide and would be cushioned during transit. The double wall outer allowed for additional cushioning and protection for the gin bottles.
The simple, one colour print keeps the boxes cost effective while also encapsulating the brand image with the font chosen by Mitch.
Mitchell, the founder, was delighted with the end result and has since ordered another run of boxes with a brand new print.
