The brief

Shelf Ready Packaging With Presence

All About Food came to Belmont for assistance in making the Wahaca Mexican street food brand stand out on the busy supermarket shelves. The product, several variants of soft taco kits already had a distinctive design, featuring photography that needed to be seen. The shelf-ready supermarket packaging needed to be bold, complementary and protect the product.

The solution

The solution was a die-cut 0711 shelf-ready box produced in a medium weight E-flute material which allowed for faster case erection, increasing packing efficiencies. A low front lip allowed the photography and captions on the pack to be seen clearly. This combined with the strong bold colour scheme selected by Wahaca created an eye-catching on-shelf presence for the product.

Now available in Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Booths, Waitrose and Tesco, the client was delighted with both the visual impact of the end result and the support and guidance the Belmont Packaging team offered throughout the design and manufacturing process.

How long will my quotation take?

Once we have received the full specification for your corrugated packaging requirements, quotations are typically returned within 2 working days, taking into consideration that we do not work on Fridays.

For more bespoke packaging projects involving custom structural design, specialist print finishes or tooling requirements, additional development time may be required to ensure we provide the most accurate and commercially effective solution.

 

What is your minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities vary depending on the packaging style, board grade, print requirements and manufacturing process involved.

As a general guide, standard production runs are usually 2,000+ boxes.
