Belmont Packaging celebrates 10 year company anniversary

Earlier this month Belmont Packaging celebrated an important company anniversary and an incredibly successful decade of innovation and accomplishment under the strong leadership of Kate Hulley.

Kate’s vision and dedication has helped steer the business through a period of transformation and growth transforming it into the dynamic force that it is today.

There has been a lot to celebrate over the last 10 years including:

• Plenty of annual investments in machinery, systems and software along with various additions and improvements to the current manufacturing kit.
• Apprenticeship programmes running across the business to help develop and promote young talent within the business. This makes for a dynamic and enthusiastic team.
• Achieving accreditations including BRC Packaging Certification, FSC Forest Management Certification, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Belmont Packaging remains a champion for women in the packaging industry and Kate is extremely proud of running a business that’s a powerhouse for female talent.
• A strong team who work well together to help drive the business forwards. Customers often comment on how welcoming and friendly the team at Belmont Packaging is and the team is proud of that accolade.
• Kate Hulley, owner and manager of Belmont Packaging has just won the Manufacturers’ Alliance Member of the Year 2023 award with her West Manchester peer group.
• The introduction of a 4-day working week and a company wide healthcare scheme. This not only boosts productivity amongst the team but also gives Belmont Packaging staff a better work life balance.
• Introduction of a long-term service award scheme in recognition of loyalty and commitment shown to the company. Half of the Belmont Packaging team have been here 15 years or more.
• A range of improvements across the Belmont Packaging site to improve site-wide conditions.
• Strides have been taken to improve Belmont Packaging’s digital marketing performance, ensuring it remains progressive in the industry in this area.

As well as the great team at Belmont Packaging one of the other key contributors to the success of Belmont Packaging as we celebrate our 10 year company anniversary has been the support of customers and suppliers.

Kate says, “One of my favourite sayings is that anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it, but it very much depends on those around you.

A lot of what we have achieved in the last 10 years just wouldn’t have been possible without so much support from our amazing suppliers and incredible customers and that support is never taken for granted, so a big thank you to everyone for all your help and support.”

There are also exciting plans and investments in the pipeline for 2024 with updates to follow once we’re able to share more.

So today we’re raising our boxes to celebrate the milestones that have shaped us into the thriving business that we are today.
