Contact us Cake by Hannah Jones is a cake and baked goods business created by the lovely Hannah Jones. In 2015 Hannah began her business venture Cake by Hannah Jones and now she owns her own shop in Adlington, Chorley.
Hannah wanted to offer boxes to her customers that could fit her miniature cakes as well as other delicious baked treats that also mirrored her brand image.
Cost effective cake boxes.
Cake by Hannah Jones approached Belmont looking for branded cake boxes that could be used within the new shop for customers to takeaway cakes and other delicious treats They needed to be cost effective and match her trendy brand image.
The box needed to be printed fully with pink, gold and a varnish to give the boxes a premium feel. The boxes also needed to be made before the Cake by Hannah Jones shop opened so that they could be used on the day of Hannah's opening event.
Flexographic printing.
This cake takeaway box was created as a FEFCO 0426 style die cut in an E-flute corrugated cardboard.
To enhance the finish and quality of the flexographic print, a clay coated paper was printed with two colours and a water based varnish to give a glossy, vibrant finish to the box. Initially, a metallic ink was requested for the logo, to keep costs down we suggested using a faux metallic or a similar colour that was non-metallic which Hannah went ahead with to keep the box cost effective while not taking away from her brand image.
The inside of the box was kept plain white as the cakes are an entire ultimate unboxing experience within themselves and Hannah did not want to take away from that.

How long will my quotation take?
Once we have received the full specification for your corrugated packaging requirements, quotations are typically returned within 2 working days, taking into consideration that we do not work on Fridays.
For more bespoke packaging projects involving custom structural design, specialist print finishes or tooling requirements, additional development time may be required to ensure we provide the most accurate and commercially effective solution.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities vary depending on the packaging style, board grade, print requirements and manufacturing process involved.
As a general guide, standard production runs are usually 2,000+ boxes.
