Kate Hulley wins Manufacturers’ Alliance Member of the Year award

Congratulations to Kate Hulley on winning the Manufacturers’ Alliance Member of the Year Award.

Our congratulations go to Kate Hulley, the inspirational owner manager of Belmont Packaging, for winning the Manufacturers’ Alliance Member of the year 2023 award with her West Manchester peer group.

Every month senior people from the manufacturing industry meet up as part of their Manufacturers’ Alliance membership. Kate is part of the West Manchester peer group and has been since early 2020.

They gather annually to vote on the Member of the Year award which recognises the contribution of a particular member across a 12-month timescale. This year Kate won the most votes from fellow manufacturing leaders and members of her group. She also received a range of wonderful comments including …

Kate is delighted with her achievement, which is extra special since it’s her first award and says, “The timing of this as Belmont Packaging celebrates 10 years of success is wonderful. As a woman in the packaging industry my journey hasn’t been an easy one, but I’ve always believed anything is possible if you trust in yourself and have the right team of supporters around you, so to receive this award is a great honour.

It’s also wonderful to receive the recognition from my fellow peers, about whom I have a huge amount of respect and admiration. The manufacturers’ Alliance is a fantastic and incredibly supportive organisation and I always look forward to our monthly meetings which are informative, inspiring and a fantastic opportunity to share common issues amongst business owners and senior managers. We really do achieve so much more when amongst supportive and inspirational people.”
