Leeds Kollel cardboard Torah stand - Case Study

The Leeds Kollel is the third-largest Jewish community in the United Kingdom. Three years in the making, this established community has its founder to thank, Rabbi Ahron Kramer who worked tirelessly spending years researching and planning to get the community launched in May 2014.
The brief - standing strong
Rabbi Kramer was looking for stands to hold copies of the Torah during their community meetings. As the stands were to be made from cardboard, it would be a challenge to create something that would withstand the weight and remain standing at the right angle.
The solution - bespoke self-locking stand
We love a challenge here at Belmont and we got to work developing and testing a number of prototypes until the winning formula was found.
The result - standing the test
The result was a completely bespoke, self-locking stand that would be crafted from plain white EB flute for an initial batch of 1500.
"I was very impressed with the service, patience, accommodating, price, and delivery. I think that says it all!!!"
